A Zine, a fanzine with issues of sexual identity..., is dedicated to “all those who think that ‘fanzine’ is a feminine word and, when corrected, respond that they have always said it that way and will continue to do so.” It is quite common for people to refer to fanzine as “a fanzine” or “this fanzine,” when the word fanzine is actually masculine. This issue was often addressed by Geraldes Lino, who insisted on clarifying this misunderstanding, advocating for the correct use of the masculine gender of the word “fanzine.” Esgar Acelerado and other “partners in crime” such as Emerenciano Osga, Rogério Rotring, and Jefferey Zaun gather in this fanzine various illustrations and comics with sexual themes, questioning gender identity and exposing the vicissitudes of romantic and sexual relationships in their many diverse variations.
