Details:

In the second issue, Aleph significantly alters its previous direction, adopting a very politicized editorial line with an extreme-left (Maoist) tendency and including works by foreign authors. It’s worth noting that the subtitle changes from "Revista Portuguesa de Banda Desenhada" (Portuguese Comics Magazine) to simply "Revista de Banda Desenhada" (Comics Magazine). Several unsigned texts are published, featuring very sharp and harsh criticism of comic authors (Vítor Mesquita), participants (Vasco Granja), and publications (Fanzines Impulso, Copra, Quadrinhos, and Ploc). Carlos Pessoa presents an extensive essay on “João Tempestade: Elements for a Reading of Frank Robbins’ Work”. From American author Ron Cobb, an interview and various cartoons are featured. Several strips by young authors João Malheiro (texts) and Fernando Sarzedas (art) are also published. Texts by Erradiador on the blog My Nation Underground.
