this book was printed in risograph on munken pure paper — 130g for the interior and 240g for the cover, which is laminated with “velvet” plastic. the finishing was done at litogaia.
it’s no longer i that liveth is a book about being thirteen years old in 1986. it recounts several months in the life of francisco ferreira, between the lisbon region and Évora.
francisco ferreira is at the worst age — an age when the god of childhood no longer exists, and no other god has yet replaced it. an age when one no longer plays but still has no true friends. a nihilistic age. an age of nothing.
still, ferreira discovers something, clings to something.
