in the immediate post-revolutionary period, a handful of illustrators with libertarian tendencies decided to publish a fanzine (magazine). amidst the revolutionary turmoil, with mainstream media aligned with the powers of the moment, these independent authors aimed to sell 8,000 copies to make the project viable! needless to say, this was the only issue of o estripador ever published... nevertheless, what they achieved was worthwhile, featuring excellent comics by bruno scoriels, fernando relvas, duarte boavida, and delphim miranda. there is also a text about the liberation of the body, translated from actuel magazine. housing issues and education also receive attention. recognizing a lack of texts in the publication, they ran an ad calling for “guys or girls who can write something worthwhile (anti-psychiatry, alternative schooling, etc.).” it was a pity there was no continuation... texts by erradiador on the blog my nation underground.
