this fanzine is the result of geraldes lino’s great passion for the work of eduardo teixeira coelho. an admirer since the mid-1940s of the covers and illustrations that e.t. coelho created for o mosquito, geraldes lino eventually met him in person in 1980 in italy, where the artist lived, and developed a close relationship with him. during one of e.t. coelho’s visits to portugal, geraldes lino learned that he was still producing comics and possessed some unpublished pages of episodes with a bawdy character, which geraldes lino set out to publish in one of his fanzines. the unpublished pages were episodes adapted from il trecentonovelle by the 14th-century italian writer franco sacchetti. the other two pages correspond to episodes based on the work ditos portugueses, compiled by josé hermano saraiva. in addition to these unpublished works, the fanzine includes an extensive and detailed bio-bibliography of the artist, as well as several reproductions of pages and illustrations, showcasing the full mastery of e.t. coelho. texts by erradiador on the blog my nation underground.
