assembling art box: time caps lock – big moments captured training course: free editorial design and independent publishing oct/nov – 2024 training center of the association of schools from the municipalities of aveiro and albergaria-a-velha trainer: miguel alexandre simões correia collaborative project – art box (ab 1.0) this collaborative project was developed during the training course “free editorial design and independent publishing”, held between october and november 2024. it involved the creation of an assembling art box titled "time caps lock"—a semantic play on time capsule and caps lock. the project was launched with the concept of a time capsule: a snapshot of the present moment to be revisited in the future. this “time caps lock” contains various works created by the participants throughout the course—multiples produced using different printing systems and techniques explored during the training sessions. they are visual narratives in diverse formats and approaches, reflecting on time, existence, and the transience of both, as well as on themes personally significant to each author. in addition to the individual contributions of each participant, the box also includes collaborative works created collectively: ab 1.1 – cadavre exquis inspired by the practice of dadaist and surrealist artists. ab 1.2 – risograph minizine resulting from a demonstration session on this specific printmaking technique. ab 1.3 – gel plate postcard + asemic writing exploring gel plate printing in combination with asemic writing. authors: ana raquel martins cláudia ribau delfim rodrigues francisco cardoso lima gabriel rego graça figueiredo joaquim mónica filipe joão duarte francisco miguel correia orquídea baltazar pedro tavares sara bandarra teresa mafalda campolargo
