Comments:: This publication brings together the work produced during the fanzine workshop “Fragmented Culture”.

The creative workshop, held on 15 February 2025, was organised by Associação Post Lab at its premises, with Miguel Correia, editor of Fanzine Ultra Violenta, as the workshop facilitator.

First, participants were introduced to the history of fanzines, with particular attention to the development of these independent, do-it-yourself publications in Portugal.

As a creative means of cultural production and countercultural subversion, the fanzines from the Fanzineteca de Aveiro collection presented during the workshop covered a wide range of subjects, from the visual arts to football and music.

Participants were then challenged to create graphic compositions using analogue techniques, such as collage and illustration, in response to the workshop theme: “Fragmented Culture”.

The works featured in this limited-edition publication reflect each participant’s own countercultural perspective:
