- The legend of Sete Cidades Lagoon is a traditional tale from the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, which has been told for decades to explain the legendary origins of the two interconnected lakes, each with a distinct colour. One side is blue and the other green, said to reflect the tears shed by two lovers, whose eyes were blue and green. It is a story of forbidden and eternal love that continues to be told to this day, reimagined in a more modern version in this zine.
