edited by marcos farrajota / fc kómix, in collaboration with the association chili com carne, this issue features a cover and comics by marcos farrajota. the first part is filled with “stories of night outs, depressions & hangovers,” presented in a diary-like style—sometimes slipping into irrelevance, but at its best moments unfolding autobiographically, making the reader wonder if the author is wandering or fictionalizing his life and intimacy. this is followed by the section “cryptic critiques,” which comments on various alternative publications such as malus by christopher webster and sourball prodigy by mike diana, both later published by m. farrajota. regarding national fanzines, there are notes on sub #1, shock #19, aardvark #3, and atelier de técnicas narrativas — a comics course. daniel d. (dias) contributes a two-page blood-soaked comic. then there is a lengthy article, “zero tolerance,” written by mike diana, narrating his legal battle with the american justice system over his fanzine boiled angel. on the last page, rejected #8 features a drawing of mariazinha by rui lacas, made for a poster that was never printed. texts by erradiador on the blog my nation underground.
