- Celebrating its second anniversary, Gambuzine continues to maintain a strong connection with the German comics scene. The opening comic, Nada de Importante ("Nothing Important"), by Makus Huber, unfolds like a melancholy ballad of loneliness and sadness.
This is followed by two single-page comics by Hendrick Dorgathen, both reminiscent of silent cinema. The first, Siesta, depicts a dream high above the ground, while the second captures the wild, carefree spirit of Rock N' Roll.
Continuing the story from previous issues, O Farol ("The Lighthouse") by Till Lenecke follows a grandfather and his grandson who, having set out on a family fishing trip, are caught in a violent storm at sea.
In Para Acabar ("To Finish"), Teresa Câmara Pestana takes an ironic look at artists and public funding, the subjectivity of art and a certain degree of artistic charlatanism. So-called "women's comics" are not spared the author's biting criticism either.
The issue concludes with a comic set in a cabin deep in the forest, where snakes are everywhere, although they prove relatively harmless.
