A photozine that invites us to reflect on how each of us moves through everyday life in relation to media violence, with the aim of restoring its human dimension.

Medusa takes its title from Greek mythology. Medusa is known for turning to stone anyone who looks at her.

Mide Plácido subverts concepts, transforming appropriated images from screens, “things” we eat and words into small montages which, placed side by side, comment on our exposure to the relentless stream of violent information arriving daily from all over the world and entering our homes.

Limited edition of 25 photozines, handmade and printed on recycled paper in 2021.

Dimensions: 20 × 15 cm.
