- Reinventando o Erudito: Laurie Anderson ("Reinventing the Erudite: Laurie Anderson") is a fanzine by Sofia Belém, offering a brief illustrated introduction to the early stages of Laurie Anderson's artistic career.
The publication places her work within the context of the New York avant-garde scene of the late 1970s, exploring her collaborations with writers of the Beat Generation, including William S. Burroughs and John Giorno, on the spoken-word album You're the Guy I Want to Share My Money With.
It also references the tape-bow violin, with particular emphasis on Anderson's exploration of language and performance. The fanzine features a variety of photographic montages, drawings, cut-outs and text collages.
The copy presented here is a stapled "pirate copy", whereas the original edition was sewn-bound.
In this fanzine, Sofia Belém studies and pays tribute to Laurie Anderson, recognising her as one of the most innovative and significant artists of our time.
