A fanzine featuring illustrations by Amália P. B., inspired by the work of various artists who have used photography as a means of developing their artistic practice.

Using coloured pencils, graphite and oil pastels, Amália P. B. incorporates recognisable references to images created by established artists such as Robert Mapplethorpe, Nan Goldin, Cindy Sherman, Robert Longo, Dora Maar, Francesca Woodman and Daniel Blaufuks.

By placing these references in a new context, she establishes an unexpected dialogue between the illustrations created under the influence of these artists, while the guiding presence of Julião Sarmento can also be sensed hovering in the background.

Texts by Erradiador on the blog "My Nation Underground".
