José Feitor comes to terms with memories that now seem as haunting to him as scenes from a fictional film. This confrontation with the past was triggered by his first encounter with a book of photographs by António Gonçalves Pedro, from Mora (published by Mora Municipal Council, September 2003). Many of the images are the result of graphic appropriations of those photographs.

Distortion, shame and guilt permeate this illustrator's most personal and poignant work.
